New Fan Light Show at the Riyadh Metropolitano
The Riyadh Air Metropolitano unveiled a new innovation during the recent Welcome Night, demonstrating Atlético de Madrid’s commitment to continuing to explore ways of putting our fans at the heart of the spectacle.
In this new collaborative Light Show, supporters became part of the musical performance using the torches on their phones.
The main innovation lay in how simple it was for our fans to take part: there was no need to download any app or manually activate any settings. They simply had to scan the QR code displayed on the stadium’s screens and confirm their participation. Immediately, the flashlights on their smartphones began to shine in sync with the choreography set by the club.
This development, combined with the audiovisual capabilities of the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, offers multiple possibilities to enhance the spectacle of our matches and events. It can merge with the music or create different atmospheres to ensure each occasion becomes a unique experience.
Another Atleti Lab project, it was a great success in terms of participation and coincided with the unveiling of the new season in front of our supporters.
